Who are we?

Hi! If you’re here, you’re probably looking for budget travel tips, great eats, dog-friendly adventures or maybe even some affordable home-reno inspo!

I’m Michaela, my husband is Jaeden, and together we started ‘Tight Travellers’ in 2019, when we quit our 9-5’s and travelled non-stop for a year. Our year abroad was incredible.

We’ve since returned to Aus, bought a home, and are currently planning a roadtrip around Aus with our two dogs!

We try and get away a couple of times a year to new places we haven’t seen, on a budget, of course (see above, PHAT mortgage)!
